My first review on my new Stihl MSA 80C battery chain saw: I love it.

1. The battery lasts longer than this 65 year old working on one of the hottest days of the year.

2. Quiet, no need to wear ear protection.

3. Everything has been designed so you don't need any tools to do the common maintenance tasks.

4. Transparent oil tank that holds a lot and you can instantly check the oil level.

5. And most importantly, it cuts really fast.

The one nick I have is it is more awkward to use one handed, which is maybe their way of saying that's not safe in the first place. There's three switches that must be pressed to make it run, palm on the handle, thumb on the safety switch and then finger on the trigger.
