Alcuni video diffusi sui social – da diverse angolazioni – mostrano un caccia F/A 18 statunitense, in volo sopra l’Iran, che viene sfiorato da un missile. La veridicità dell’episodio è stata confermata dai media internazionali, che hanno geolocalizzato i filmati sopra Chabahar. La tv di Stato iraniana ha affermato che il Corpo delle Guardie Rivoluzionarie Islamiche (IRGC) ha “colpito con successo” un F/A-18 in volo sopra Chabahar, ma da quanto risulta al momento non ci sarebbero caccia Usa colpiti.
Nei giorni scorsi, invece, era stato colpito un caccia stealth F-35, che era stato costretto a effettuare un atterraggio di emergenza.

Some videos circulating on social media – from various perspectives – show a U.S. F/A-18 fighter jet flying over Iran being grazed by a missile. The veracity of the incident was confirmed by international media, which geolocated the footage above Chabahar. The Iranian state television reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had “successfully struck” an F/A-18 in flight over Chabahar, but, as far as is currently known, no U.S. fighter jets were hit.

In recent days, however, an stealth F-35 fighter jet had been struck, forcing it to make an emergency landing.

An Iranian Jamaran-class corvette was struck by U.S. forces at the beginning of Operation “Epic Fury” and “is sinking on the seabed of the Gulf of Oman.” The U.S. Central Command (Centcom) made the announcement, specifying that the vessel is located at a pier in Chabahar.
