A lot has gone wrong at #CFC over the past 7 days. Everyone is under scrutiny and the fans are growing mutinous. Liam Rosenior now knows what being head coach at the club is really like. Perhaps it was the heat of the moment. Perhaps he did not consider the potential significance of not shutting down the question. Or perhaps Enzo Fernández became the first star signing of the Clearlake-Capital-Todd Boehly era to take a first step towards breaking ranks.

And if Fernández really did mean to cast doubt over his Chelsea future in the Clearlake-Boehly project, it raises the uncomfortable question for the owners of who else among the big names is starting to have their doubts?

If you look at teams that win Premier League and #UCL, they have a mix of young players and more established leaders. PSG have Marquinhos, Liverpool have VVD/Salah, Real Madrid have Valverde/Courtois, City and Arsenal have loads of experience.

The #cfc project is deeply flawed.
