Philadelphia International KPHL → Atlantic City International KACY

The conditions were perfect for a memorable morning flight. I took the Cessna 152 out of the hangar for a short, 40-nautical-mile VFR flight into the sunrise. Practicing coordinated flight and VOR/OBS navigation proved more challenging than IFR operations.

A couple of days ago I completed Leg 139 of my Cessna's Round The World Trip in Microsoft Flight Simulator: WIDS Dabo, Singkep Island, Indonesia, to WIPP Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia (178 miles, one hour 41 minutes). Much of it was over water, and this shot shows the sun rising (it was just after 7am local time) and catching the plane with a splash of reflected sunlight off the wing. #MSFS #MicrosoftFlightSimulator #Cessna #Cessna152 #Indonesia
