ARC has "postponed" announcement of Centres of Excellence outcomes!

It says "due diligence checks" are still being carried out on some applications.

Waiting on #CentresOfExcellence EOIs & #LinkageProjects to open? Hopefully ARC Board approved Guidelines at today's meeting.

Under new ARC Act, they go to Minister & then Federal Register of Legislation before becoming public+active. Hence uncertainty about opening dates.

Research leaders are expressing concern that time between EOI outcomes (28Jan) & full apps due (20Mar) is far too short.

This 7-week prep time is HALF that for CE23!

Teams will have to start prep before EOI outcomes are known ➡️ huge waste of time!

DMers report that Expressions of Interest for #CE26 won’t open until “approx” July, with a 7-week application window.

Previous rounds & verbal advice to ROs led people to believe EOIs would open in April or May, but that won't happen.
