I've lived in houses of several periods, many built in the second half of the twentieth century, and I can attest that wattle-and-daub is superior to 1970s brick. Straw-bale would be even better. Ask Kevin McCloud. Better, ask the #CentreForAlternativeTechnology and book on their #StrawBaleHouse construction course.
