Another resource, very popular back in the day! (I wasn't even born yet, wtf am I even talking about) - Anyway, I'm talking about the legendary มานะ มานี ปีติ ชูใจ written by Ratchanee Sripraiwan, Thai language scholar, writer and academic.
This series was used in primary schools throughout Thailand from 1st grade to 6th grade from 1978 - 1994. I am sure a lot of Thais here probably know something about this book series.
I must admit that I very much prefer this book series over whatever the Ministry of Education uses today (Yeah, that one.) since it is actually enjoyable and actually teaches the reader the language.
