48 歲的士司機涉於 2025 年 8 月，向扮成顧客「放蛇」的警員濫收車資、行駛期間沒展示的士司機證。他承認「收取超過訂明收費率的的士租用費」等 4 罪，周三（31 日）在東區裁判法院被判 160 小時社會服務令，以及罰款 3,000 元。官指被告有兩次同類型紀錄。

案情指，被告凌晨在中環威靈頓街接載警員到尖沙咀，曾稱「咁夜又要過隧道，三百蚊，你睇吓可唔可以」。而駕駛期間他未有按下計程錶，最後收取了 300 元車資。該段車程約 8 公里，標準收費應為 142 元。

Girls’ night out

The Royal Square in Phnom Penh, between the Royal Palace and the riverside where the rivers Tonle Sap and Mekong meet, are among the nicest public areas in the Cambodian Capital.

The area is ordinarily bustling with people, both locals and tourists from early morning. In the late afternoon/early evening families arrive for picnic, and later in the evening young people join for meals, drinks and friendly activities.

Late arrivals
Many of them arrives after the ordinary shops and daytime cafes are closed.

Like this group of Khmer ladies in their late teens having a late evening picnic at a nearly empty square.

When you have one of those soft, velvet dark blue nights it becomes a nice ending of a day visiting the capital city.
