Really liking some #eSUN #ASA+ that I'm currently printing with for outside garden use. Printing at 270C nozzle and 110C for the bed on my #ElegooCentauriCarbon
Sticks to the bed quite nicely .Needs brims for narrow stuff but the brims come away very cleanly when the part is cool. (I use a can of freezer spray if I need my prints cooling quickly)
I've had an idea

Ok - what I want is a flow that can look at the image from my Centauri Carbon webcam and determine if there is a previous print still sittng on the bed. In my mind, this would seem to be a useful job for an Awful Idiot piece of image recognition software. I view whats going on via an IP address http://192.168.0.184/network-device-manager/network/control and this what it shows when nothing is lying on the bed so in my mind, all it has to do is detect a small (configurable) difference from...
I've made a cover to protect my new PEI bed for my #Neptune3Pro as I realised that my #CentauriCarbon plate was just about big enough to print one.
So should keep it safe from when I do stupid things like putting my coffee cup down on it :)

I picked up a cheap 0.6mm nozzle to test on my #centauricarbon and uh yeah no thanks
Not gonna lie, I feel let down by the first layer quality from my #ElegooCentauriCarbon ...
Some corners are just way more squished than others. On the old Prusa MK3 I would have the option to adjust the offset for each side, but I've found no such thing here.
I see people raving about perfect first layers on the #centauricarbon, just like I'm getting on my P1S. Am I missing something? Is the loadcell not doing its job?
I felt almost almost nostalgic when I realized I had to adjust the Z-offset, but sadly that does not take height differences into account.
Looks likely that there won't be a multi-colour upgrade for the #CentauriCarbon
