Muualla Euroopassa käytetään hätätekstiviestejä - meillä 112 Suomi -sovellusta

Syynä tähän on se, että vuonna 2022 voimaan astunut direktiivi ei suoraan pakota jäsenmaita ottamaan käyttöön Cell Broadcast tai LB-SMS -pohjaisia vaaratilanteista varoittavia tekstiviestejä, vaan muutkin tekniset toteutukset sallitaan.

Koska Suomella oli jo käytössä - vuodesta 2015 alkaen - 112 Suomi -sovellus, niin viranomaiset tulkitsivat sen täyttävän direktiivin ehdot.

Euroopan Unioni vaatii jäsenmaitaan toteuttamaan mobiilipohjaisen vaaratiedotusjärjestelmän. Valtaosassa maita käyttöön on valittu Cell Broadcast / EU-Alert -järjestelmä, mutta Suomessa käytetään 112 Suomi -sovellusta.

@dawndrums https://dev.phosh.mobi/docs/development/stack/ is pretty terse and doesn't list everything but by following the links you should get an overview. https://phosh.mobi/posts/ should be able to fill in some other gaps regarding e.g. #cellbroadcast or emergency calls.

Software Stack

Software Stack# The Phosh software is grouped into different categories. See this blog post for more details. The release notes list the components according to this categorization. Core Components# These build up the mobile shell itself. This includes the phone shell itself, the Wayland compositor phoc as well as the on screen keyboard stevia. Recommended Components# Recommended components are needed to make the session feel “Phosh like” and to make it mobile friendly. An example is the tour or the mobile settings app.
