#Planetary protection means treating #celestial bodies not as #RealEstate, but as unique, potentially life-bearing worlds deserving of reverence and #NonInterference. Our first question should be “How do we observe without harming?” not “What can we take?”

The #PrimeDirective from #StarTrek is a starting point. It is intended to be an #AntiColonial non-interference ethic, albeit sabotaged by its #ColdWar context and “commensurate level of technological and/or societal development” criteria.
