Two incoming PhD students at the University of Waterloo were killed while waiting for their opportunity to come to Canada and start their academic programs. Other students have been experiencing extensive delays. These are all highly accomplished graduate students who have been accepted to competitive funded graduate programs. We urge you to sign this letter to tell Minister Diab to take action now.
