Good evening everyone 🌉 I'm finally back from hospital, waiting , getting gel put on skin, coming back from hospital, waiting some more and then back to hospital again for the light treatment .All good though. Positive stuff. I just need another session of light treatment on my face now after this one so back there in six weeks. I found out that one of the consultants at the local hospital was a pioneer of the treatment, which was very impressive. I also finally got the results from the biopsy of the suspect mole and it's all clear. Happy days 🎉😊

I even managed to finally get my website updated in between it all. Cooking with gas as they say 😁

It's #CazimodoCrochet competition draw time! There were only three entries so I did a best of five using different random dice roller apps to be entirely fair. I can announce that the winner is : *drum roll*.......

Good morning my Fine Fedi Friends 💕 I'm up with the birds today and have just finished the morning cage clean and feed routine. Ziggy is cuddled up in my hand grumbling, Jadie is tucked back into the shadows of her cage and Toby is munching with great gusto, of course 😁

Jadie is becoming ever more brave, and it's heartwarming to see. She's even started creeping over to me of an evening even when Ziggy is cuddled up with me. She's rightfully wary, because Zigs will chase her as soon as she clocks her, but Jadie wouldn't even have attempted that before now. It will have been four years next month since we rescued her and it has taken until now for her to start regaining her confidence. It's lovely to see her being so bold ❣️

It's nice to have work over for another week as it continues to be crazy, and now they have decided we all have to have Copilot shoved into all the office apps so everything is more annoying than ever. Most of my colleagues are embracing it with enthusiasm. I continue to be the Luddite 🥴

Plans for today are some Parrot Kitchen and then I'm not sure. I have loads of clean out stuff to get on with, but it will depend on energy levels. I may end up gaming 😆

Good morning everyone 🌞 I was supposed to sleep a bit longer this morning, but Grant has hurt his back - sciatica it looks like - so I got up and took over when I heard him groaning and yelping downstairs 😊 I have sciatica myself and I know it can be painful when it flares up.

So, I'm sitting with Ziggy now, not fully awake yet, and contemplating the work day ahead. And, it's to be a warm one I believe after a zero degrees start. They are talking around 17-18 C for here! Quite a change, but I could believe it after we had sun, wind, rain, hail and snow on Sunday there 😊

Right, Ziggy is demanding "Come! Come!" and I need to get ready for work and have a very large coffee to wake up properly first!

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm 🌌 I'm up early with the parrots again this morning and it's a chilly one at -1 C after being a balmy 10 C yesterday.

Ziggy is currently curled up in my hand having her head stroked and beak crunching away. She has been a lot more content the last couple of days. I think the raging hormones have settled down again for a bit. She's not going to be happy with me tomorrow though as we are off to the V-E-T again so she can have some more blood tests. We're turning it into a military operation by taking the other two as well for beak/nail trims and checkups. 🥴

She just demanded I take her to get her medication, but now we are back in the living room she is ignoring the spoon and preening me instead. This is the routine lately. Eventually she'll decide to take the mash and then demand to be taken to her cage for breakfast. I will wait patiently and finally be rewarded with a large mug of coffee like the good parrot slave I am 😂

Plans for today are some Parrot Kitchen and then working on the latest crochet order, which is almost done, but needs final tweaks. I'll probably end up watching more videos of people playing Stardew Valley 😁

This onion sprout in my kitchen and I was looking for an excuse to take its photo, then I saw the post by #CazimodoCrochet doing a giveaway, so I thought it would be nice to immortalize this onion for it amused me for a moment. Should I say boost please until she picks me or did we leave that behaviour behind in twitter?

Anyway something about sprouting vegetables in the kitchen, without soil or a farming god to urge it to grow, fascinates me.

Good morrow Fine Fedi Folk 💕 I am up early with the parrots today and have just put Ziggy in for breakfast after a very brief cuddle as she is apparently starving this morning. She is very much enjoying her food as all the "Mmm"s and "Goods!" can attest to 😊

Toby is having a Mojo Moult at the moment and is a very scruffy looking chap indeed! I've upped his sprouted seed and am focussed on more protein in his diet to help with all those new feathers that he'll be growing in. I wish I could give him the parrot feast egg food that I have been feeding Jadie during her moult, because her feathers are lovely and shiny, and for the first time since we rescued her (touch wood) she doesn't have those annual bald patches above her eyes and nares. Unfortunately it is fortified with vitamins though, and you can't give an Eclectus fortified food.🤷🏻‍♀️

Grognak and Ethera will be heading back into the Shadow Cursed Lands in co-op BG3 today. I am going to try and play it with a controller so I don't have to sit with a lap tray on my lap as it tires me out doing so. I played a bit of Mass Effect Legendary Edition yesterday using a controller and that worked well. The controller did, not me so much...I find the combat too fast paced and am dead a lot 😂 But it's a series I have always wanted to play, so I'll stick with it.

And, now that @SeaFury finally has her toy and Pete approves 😁, I feel another competition coming on. I'm going on leave at the end of next week for a couple of weeks, so will probably kick it off in early March. Keep an eye out for that one and check out the @[email protected] for her photo of Pete with the new toy.
