Hello folks 👋😅 As a proudly proper old school cat lady, I’ve decided to do Cats Protection’s Big Winter Roam throughout all of Feb.
Gonna try for 50 miles which is enough as my mobility is a little challenged these days. If you can please boost or even spare a couple of quid to help me help cats, both they and us benefit as life is so much better with happy, healthy cats. Thank you. 😸 #cats #catsofmastodon #CatsProtection #BigWinterRoam
Dying Kittens in Landfill Woodpile Tempted to Safety with Kippers
Addendum: there are actually 4 kittens - 3 black (2 female, one male), one fluffy grey girl. One little girl is still quite shy, but getting better every day.
Also, ever tried to name 3 identical black cats consistently? It’s fun, I assure you! “Oh hello Ebony” [tail lifts] “Sorry, Edwin”
And yes, the vet nurse was a bit keen when wielding the clippers for the spaying operations! Usually the shaved patch is much smaller. No harm done, fur grows back and it’s nice and warm here in the UK
Here’s some pics of the latest rescue fosterkits chez-Thirstybear. Second litter of the year. Unusually these little ones were separated from mum as soon as they were weaned because mama cat is a true feral and was teaching them bad habits - the language they were using when they first arrived was shocking!
Anyway…the intervention was in time; the feral-ness hadn’t fully imprinted, and they are now used to people, and all are purring little fuss monsters.
