I need to pack my stuff but he's fallen asleep in my lap.
No, I don't know what it was doing under there.
Today's cat, at a roadside café just outside Bodrum.
I thought there was a frog croaking under my chair, turns out it was this kitten, purring.
I mean this cat knows exactly how fabulous it looks
(One of the street cats I saw yesterday evening. It was relaxing in a flower bed outside a restaurant.)
It was very hot today. Everywhere I looked, were cats, sleeping in the coolest spots they could find.
This was taken from above, the cat was sleeping behind a bench at the Belediyesi Sosyal Tesisler which is currently my favourite place to sit in the shade eating cheesecake and drinking lemonade.
There are so many identical grey tabby cats there, I think they must be siblings.
This cat is just absolutely blissfully asleep. I wish I could sleep like that.
The couple at the table next to me are terrified of the street cats. Everytime a cat saunter past one of them leaps up and the other moves chairs to make a barricade.
Street cat of the day was this little one, who came running up to me and insisted on some attention.
Earlier, as I was sitting on a step outside a corner shop, taking a breather from a long walk, another cat ( I think it was someone's pet, it looked well cared for, a tabby cat) crawled into my lap. It just confidently hopped up and pushed its head into my hand, purring loudly. No photo as I had to use both hands to stroke it.
