This is Journey. He's available for adoption at Bosley's on South Fraser Way in Abbotsford, BC, Canada.

He's an eight year old rescue, found outside of Edmonton with frostbite damage to his ears. He tried to give himself a concussion head-butting us through his cage. Very squeaky, too, like our Simon. Apparently gets along with kids and other cats, too. #AdoptDontShop #CatRescue

Metro Cat Rescue continues to care for Rosebud and Murph. Rosebud was very sick summer 2023. I placed her in a cat playpen in my home office so she would have a peaceful place to recover. After a few days, feeling a bit better, she bolted when I opened the door. She's settled into life as the queen of her own realm.

@DMakarios FWIW, I expect any street cat likely to get a heart attack from fear would have done so before landing in your shed. I think them escaping as you try to get them into the carrier is more likely.

If you want to get them to a vet, I'd suggest an experienced partner, protective gear for you both, and a thick towel to firmly purrito Batcat before getting them into the carrier. One person tip it so the door is on top, and hold it steady, while the other person puts the swaddled cat in head first. Don't tip it back to horizontal until you've tested the door.

Note: I've never rescued a feral, let alone an injured one. This works on reluctant cats who otherwise trust me. Adding hashtags to see if anyone who has worked with ferals can advise.

Venus came to Metro Cat Rescue sick with a cold and had to be kept by herself so as not to infect the other kittens and cats.

After a trip to the vet, medicine, good food and warmth, Venus DeCoco became well. Beautiful Venus now loves people and is happy to be held all day.
