Thanks to TJ Maxx, my cat crew got to try Purina Fancy Feast Gems — Mousse Paté with Tuna and a Halo of Savory Gravy.

I needed to slide a knife around the inside of the tubs to get them to pop out (I later found out about a toothpick trick, and had the Jell-O mold trick on deck.) and “halo” is a tad hyperbolic* but I approve of that sort of thing.

Jinx, Dexy and Whisper seemed to approve as well. Next time, I’ll break it up a bit for Whisper, as she went at it like a lollipop and was only halfway down when Jinx was released and “helped” her finish it off.

Alas, I had no little sprigs of parsley to complete the presentation.

*Honestly, so is “Gems” but they did have facets and I’d be proud if I came up with that name.
