Two cats (Clove & Erie) were sleeping next to me in bed. Twig, who is the youngest cat of the group, hops on the bed and wakes them both up by BITING THEIR FACES, one at a time. Then he's like "let's cuddle!", tries to curl up next to them, and they both hiss/swat at him.
Now he's downstairs, meowing/crying loudly. What a doofus!
OH MY GOD CAT. We're trying to leave on a trip and our cat roll call turned up one missing. We called and called, shaking snack bags like idiots for 45 MINUTES and checked all the closets, hiding spots, closed rooms and outside. I almost cried thinking he really got out and we would have to postpone leaving.
Cue this sleepy cat finally peeking out from behind a cupboard so full of muffin tins I can't believe he fit inside.
One of our cats (Omega) had a little puke accident this morning, shortly after breakfast. Now she is hungry 😄. I gave her some food in a slow feeder, so she doesn't have to go hungry until dinner.
Our other cat (Alpha), however, is overly "food jealous" (or in German has "Futterneid" - yes we have a word for it 😂). Now she is observing at a distance, not even taking some bribe kibbels. Just mad that Omega has food.

7 of us just assembled like the freaking Avengers and GOT MY NEIGHBOR'S CAT OUT OF THE STORM DRAIN!!! One of the men used a lever to lift the manhole cover and lowered a step ladder down. I was the smallest adult, so I went down the into the storm drain with a flashlight. I had to kind of bear crawl through part of it, but down one small side tunnel I saw TWO REFLECTIVE EYES blinking irregularly!

Twice today I’ve shut the cats in one room while my mum has ushered the grey and white visitor out the door. He gets upset if we suggest he leaves through the cat flap he came in. Both he and Jasper are capable of some loud high-pitched shrieking and Lola’s not here for it either, being his main reason for bothering us. He used to be quite thin so I was worried, but he’s now bigger, with a collar, and sadly still has his nuts 😒
