Here's a variation on a Pre-Raphaelite Classic (almost saved this for Pride Month but couldn't resist!), positing the knight as a woman, which is of course a perfect fit for the noble Lashunta Outriders.
Over their history since their order's creation during the Second Formian Invasion, Outriders have developed a cycle of legends to idealize their values. Some is drawn from classical sources, such as the the ~Huael Valmae Yazantae~ - the Lament for Lost Valmaea - commemorating the fall of that legendary city, and the ~Shanyali Hivaenmorei~ - the Song of the Warrior-Princesses, celebrating their grudging but tragic resistance to the Thief-Queens. Yet they have existed long enough that tales of outriders themselves have grown, and rooted strongly in the tradition of ~Vali~ - Elflove, the Castrovellian version of Romance. These are stories, some born in fancy, such as Lady Vautaeal the Orange and the Gray Elfqueen,

If this were a pair of Lashunta, what tale between Outrider and Ladylove is unfolding here?

So this pic's selection began as a trial to find an appropriately representative pic for a Korasha. It sorta succeeded. By the end, it became an exercise in reflection on the many stereotypes in Sword & Sorcery fantasy art, especially in how females are portrayed.

Since the Lashunta are ruled by a Damaya Matriarchy, I've set myself a goal to avoid depictions of submissive females. It's not easy. The Evil Sorceress (exemplified here) is one of the few tropes where the female is not shown as submissive.

To interpret this pic in a Lashunta context, this would likely be a scene in which contemporary lashunta artists interprest a tale from the Age of the Thief-Queens, who were infamous as skull-collectors. She has summoned something (her korasha warrior-harem? something more eldritch?) to deal with the hero. Interestingly, korasha heroes resisting the Thief-Queens' oppression is a common theme in Lashunta historical fiction.

~Zhoau~ - the Castrovellian butterfly. There are oracles who read prophecies in their flight and their wings' flutter.

Castrovel, like Golarion, is infamous for its portals: those that both the Lashunta and Elves use to span the world with their travels, and those unknown, awaiting an unsuspecting explorer to step through, which is rather how Lady Vaeol met Brand and his company of mercenary misfits.

The only question is how these worldgates first came to be. Who made them, and for what purpose?

Given lashunta's talent for psychic magic, what is going on here? They tend to focus on symbiosis, and not on summoning spirits from beyond.

Could this be someone dabbling in ~tiqezhi~ - anathama? There are forces from the Outer Darkness, as personified by Zaulavyaedu - The Dark Adder Beyond - whose perilous gifts bring corruption.

Like elves, lashunta willingly build their houses in trees, especially as it raises them above the Megadendra Jungle's Darkfloor, into a lighter, loftier environment. I've been struggling with concepts of treehouse building, ranging from flet-syle platforms among the boughs to delved, dugout rooms within the tree trunk, as is shown here. The challenge lies in building these structures, ideally without killing the tree.

Lashunta put a strong cultural value on trees, particularly the ~Eazue~ Milktree. Not only do they like it for house-building, it is an important food source (since lashunta milk trees, not cows) and it has psychically sensitive properties that, over time, allow it to be trained to beome a Soul-Tree. Some scholars have asserted that the first major symbiotic event in Lashunta evolution wasn't the bonding with shotalashu (as illustrated in the Legend of Tess the First Queen) but in the prehistoric bonding with Milk-Trees.

~Noe Hozye~ - Goddess of Flight. Maybe a god worshipped in Ofu-Laubu (Laubu Mesa), as matroness of the skyriders? Whisper a hymn to her when your Thakasa leaps aloft, and when you land.

On that note, how anthroporphic (lashunta-morphic??) are Lashunta gods? To what degree, and under what conditions, do they resemble their worshippers, or rather the concepts they represent? Interesting topic for a people who worship trees as gods.
