Hey thanks for checking out my stuff! This week it's more Castlevania. I don't make a lot of photo compositions with foreground elements like this but I thought it worked well with the repeating arches. I also painted some of the gaps in the shadows so the eye can travel back into the character in a smoother way. I feel like I approach a lot of these more like an illustrator vs a photographer. I'm hoping to make this one into a print.

I found this staircase last night on location that felt like It could fit in the Castlevania world to capture my friend's Maria cosplay. I took out the signs to the restroom and swapped in a painting of the castle to give the image a little more story and world building. We were really rushing against the building closing so I didn't have time to add any lights other than what was already there. I'd just have to fix the colors in post. Originally it was very very warm so I had to work on colors for character and background separately to get them to balance. Also a big coat rack was blocking this so I was just hoping that someone didn't come and freak out that I moved it before putting everything back.
