Meant to post these earlier. I snagged a cheap LCD TV from #Savers since it was pretty small, and I could fit it where I normally use my work laptop. It also has a #VGA connection, which our main TV lacks.

Plus, it should be easier to use for play testing, or just when I'm in the mood to play something on original hardware, since the main TV is wall mounted and I have to contort myself to plugin/unplug cables.

I tested a few games using my best cables for each; no crappy component cables (except for the #N64, which had #SVideo, so it still doesn't look that great). I noticed one of the games I tested, #WWFAttitude on #Dreamcast wouldn't display at all. My guess is that it's using some different display resolution that doesn't play nice with #VGA, perhaps since it's an upscaled port of the #PlayStation version. The other game, #CastlevaniaResurrection (a canceled, incomplete game), worked fine.

Pretty pleased overall. This will do until I finally move and have space for a #CRT #TV to play the older stuff in the proper manner! #Wii #WiiWare #WiiShop #Caslevania #CastlevaniaAkumajōDraculaMokushiroku

@Loki_Leigh Yeah, I was a little bummed, then I thought "Maybe he's just going to get a proper burial?" and, ultimately, they did try to make it make sense narrative-wise, even if the theme might have gotten compromised.

Overall, though, still just blown away. I never really even played anything but #SimonsQuest and #Castlevania64 I think, but DAMN
