He overturns the whole "West is so good!" Narrative on its head. In fact, in this lecture he explains whole East, West thing. Some of hist interpretation of history has been challenged as inaccurate, mainly by the folks who want to maintain the supremacy of "the west" in our #mythos but you will be all the richer for listening to #casagrande.
