La Lantieri faceva presente a Cuffaro, chiamandolo “Presidente”, di avere “…chiamato tre volte a Schifani…” senza, peraltro, ricevere risposta. Cuffaro la invitava a soprassedere e rivolgersi a “…Iacolino…” e “…Caruso…” per far capire loro che il nome del direttore amministrativo avrebbe dovuto darglielo lei, [...] (“...Me lo volete dare il Direttore Amministrativo? Se non me lo date… allora vi comunico ...sin da adesso che andate a fare in culo tutti…”)

Lantieri informed Cuffaro, calling him “Presidente,” that she had “…called him three times to Schifani…” without, moreover, receiving a response. Everyone sought to determine what a run from someone on Bass' left will mean when election day arrives in, gulp, 💥 less than four months.

Elections are best when they involve real choice.

Bass may briefly have envisioned coasting to term two.

But with five years on the council, progressive bona fides, and key positions including chairing the Council's Housing and Homelessness Committee,
