The new Formula 1 season kicks off with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
• The track was built on a former camel farm.
• To keep sand off the track, organizers spray the surrounding desert with a sticky substance to hold it in place.
• The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East.
• The Bahrain Grand Prix was moved to become a night race in 2014 for its tenth anniversary and has remained as one ever since.

Following feedback (huge thanks to everyone🙏), I updated the map of the #f1 Spa-Francorchamps racing track.
Lighting is now more natural, but I kept yellow touches in the track outline and background shadows.
Although it is not strictly a #3d map, I used #Blender to generate the scene and cast the light.
🏔️ Sandia Mountains
Located immediately east of Albuquerque in New Mexico, in the southwestern United States. The plural “mountains” is because the locals consider it a range, not a singular mountain.
This map was another custom design request. It was trickier than others because of the large scale, and JAXA ALOS Global #dem provides approximately 30 meters resolution. Meaning at this scale, there were visible data patterns.
