I fail to understand the “we're not going to hand control to #Apple" position of carmakers regarding #CarPlayUltra. The system only kicks in if your customer is an #iPhone user who connects their phone to their car. In other words, your car system has to support all its own features on its own, separate from #CarPlay Ultra - there is no "taking over”. It all sounds like fear-mongering in an attempt to achieve something else - likely something #privacy invasive.
