Experience tells me that if you can consistently see five moves clearly, and you can see it reasonably quickly, you're at least an #IM. If you always see three moves clearly, you can achieve #Master with good study. #Endings. I've adopted the #Carlsen technique. I am #practical.

LAUSANNE (ANP/AFP) - Wereldschaakbond FIDE heeft een nieuwe wereldtitelstrijd schaken gepresenteerd. Het gaat om een 'allroundtoernooi' met schaakpartijen in de varianten rapid, blitz en een ingekorte versie van het klassieke schaken, fast-classic. Het initiatief van toernooiorganisator Norway Chess krijgt ook de goedkeuring van voormalig wereldkampioen Magnus Carlsen uit Noorwegen.
