Even more ridiculously, all this sort of advice floating around is just cargo-culting. Not even the model makers understand exactly how a given prompt results in a particular output - it's opaque to them, too. It's "I did this, and that happened, and therefore this caused that, so you should always do this".

Next, they'll be telling you to use a green paint marker around the edge of your prompt to get better results.

@nixCraft What I fear is that this practice is so common that companies that where previously doing fairly well (like where I work) are now jumping on the band wagon due to fear of missing out.

This is why I basically call all modern #UIDesign a #CargoCult.

Tactile considerations were precisely what went into UI Design 40 years ago.

Now, it's all about surface-level aesthetics, and it has broken so many fundamental things, argh.
