The caregiving I do waxes and wanes, but for almost 3 months I've been doing the kind of round-the-clock intensive sprint-a-marathon caregiving that will BREAK you physically, emotionally, and financially. I don't yet see light at the end of the tunnel.
I was so relieved to discover that (in theory), there are some caregiver support resources out there, like caregiver counseling and emergency respite care. What I've found feels like a cruel joke of a broken system.
