If I had a vehicle related question, could anyone answer it here on Mastodon? My mom has a car that has lots of electronic components that don't seem to do well in Summer or Winter temps, and the battery keeps dying. She had the alternator replaced, work done on the entire electrical system, and no problems with the engine, starter or fuses. Help please 😩

I have a 2013 #HondaAccord & suddenly getting Electronic Power Steering Indicator (EPS), Vehicle Stability Assist System Indicator (VSA) warnings and an Intermittent parking brake indicator. Before I call a #mechanic ,wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be causing this? The car is parked outside with nights below Zefo (F). Nothing different with steering, handling or braking. Yesterday we were rear-ended on our way home from #icehockey practice. The car is totaled. Luckily we are able to get a rental through insurance. But we have nothing saved towards a new to us vehicle. We had just dropped $1k into this one thinking we'd get another 100K out of our magical #corrolla.

Now I will be researching vehicles. Considering an #electricvehicle possibly #FordLightningF150 but that's $$$ so I'm still looking into things. I welcome #caradvice
