The police were called to her father’s home in Michigan in a practice known as “swatting” after a caller falsely asserted that he was trying to kill his wife.
“My brother had to have a police car put in front of his home,” Slotkin said.

It's believed to have been made, but #electiondenier #MikeJohnson has somehow never gotten around to having it put up in the Capitol.

Approaching the fifth anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, the official plaque honoring the police who defended democracy is nowhere to be found. It’s not on display at the Capitol, as is required by law. Its whereabouts are not publicly known, though it’s believed to be in storage. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson has yet to formally unveil the plaque. And the Trump administration’s Justice Department is seeking to dismiss a lawsuit asking that it be displayed. Instead, some 100 members of Congress, mostly Democrats, have mounted poster board-style replicas of the Jan. 6 plaque outside their office doors.
So, I am seeing some patterns... Cutting #USDA funding, support for #LocalFood and #LocalFarms, #SNAPCuts, #UnaffordableHealthCare, etc. #HungerGames. Plain and simple. Cull the population. This is #LifeOrDeath for many Americans. And #NationalGuard / #ICE / #DHS bullshit is just the establishment of a national police force (#CapitolPolice) to #SilenceDissent. #DoublePlusUngood!
