Yet, when they cut corners and produce AI Slop or near garbage quality items and Adult collectors don't buy things then the CEO's complain that adults are too picky.

PopMart - who make Labubu's - stock is apparently nosediving and there are three main reasons.
1: 'Hype' products always exists in a 'Style' bubble.
2: Unlike Say Sanrio or Disney IP - there is no wider lore/storytelling narrative associated with #Labubu. At least none that majority of consumers know and/or care about
3: The Chinese Govt recently put out official material saying that Good Citizens don't gamble and Buying Blind Box Toys is the same as Gambling. 👀
