Lara KayeThe Cape White-eye is a very small bird with green feathers and a ring of white around its eyes.
It travels in groups or sometimes two by two and is a highly social bird with a high-pitched but sweet chirp.
Very quick, it is not scared to be near humans. I could draw this sketch because I was allowed close enough to one to take good photos with my cellphone camera.
The Cape White-eye is one of my best-liked birds, and a symbol of me on social media – small, highly social, and don’t spend too much time there.
