🌱 Diese Woche war Minister Manne Lucha zu Gast bei Canopy Growth Germany in St. Leon-Rot. Das Pharmaunternehmen mit Sitz in Kanada importiert, prüft, produziert und vertreibt Medizinalcannabis nach höchsten pharmazeutischen Standards. Rund 40 Mitarbeitende sind in St. Leon-Rot beschäftigt.

📍 Ein starkes Signal für Baden-Württemberg als Standort für innovative Arzneimittelproduktion.

💡 Medizinalcannabis ist längst ein fester Bestandteil der Arzneimittelversorgung – zum Beispiel bei chronischen Schmerzen, Multipler Sklerose oder in der Palliativmedizin. Umso wichtiger sind klare Regeln, hohe Qualitätsstandards und sichere Lieferketten. Genau das stand bei dem Austausch mit den Mitarbeitenden von Canopy Growth im Mittelpunkt.

⚖️ Die geplante Änderung des Medizinal-Cannabisgesetzes des Bundesministeriums für Gesundheit war ebenfalls ein Thema. Künftig soll eine Verschreibung nur noch nach persönlichem Arzt-Patienten-Kontakt möglich sein. Das Ziel: mehr Sicherheit und klare Strukturen in der Versorgung.

🤝 Einigkeit bestand darin, dass Patientensicherheit an erster Stelle steht und die Versorgung flächendeckend gesichert bleiben muss, auch im ländlichen Raum.

Yesterday’s close: $0.38, June 30, 2023.

Unfortunately, a lot of adventurous retail investors will have been burned badly by this.

My heart goes out to Smith Falls, Ont. When I was a kid, we used to drive an hour to the Hershey's factory there to grab great bags of factory reject candy. It's the second factory to shut up shop in the town of 10,000 in less than a single generation.
