Carley Coma (their singer) is an incredible rapper, too. Got to see them several times, luckily. Legendary.

I was 19 in 1999, and I went to a lot of punk and hardcore shows. Candiria was a band I got to see live-- it was INCREDIBLE. What a show. They were TIGHT and on point. Lead singer Carley Coma can both rap AND growl, and drummer Kenneth Schalk is just a stunning talent with time signatures and interspersing jazz beats.
This album of theirs from 1999 might be my favorite-- it's a wild mix of metal, hardcore, hiphop, jazz, and ambient.
It's insane and beautiful.
