Позиционирующий свою новую галерею как место для диджитал-искусства и искусства, созданного с помощью AI, Марат Гельман решил выставить графику Сорокина — сделанные им «черновики» русских писателей. Вернее, не писателей, а их клонов, вокруг которых строится сюжет в романе «Голубое сало». Кроме этого, Гельман, выступающий в данном случае как куратор, предложил Сорокину проиллюстрировать роман с помощью искусственного интеллекта. Переводом пожеланий писателя на язык AI занимался поэт и художник Евгений Никитин. В итоге кроме отличной современной выставки случился вполне архаичный скандал. Его не стоит преувеличивать, но из него стоит сделать выводы, считает дважды посетившая выставку Анна Лахматова.
