ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Un'Europa sorda è assente mi impedisce di aiutare gli italiani di difficoltà, con tutti i soldi che vorremmo usare. Occorre cambiare delle regole europee che in questo momento rischiano di massacrarci”. Così il vicepremier e ministro delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti, Matteo Salvini, a “Mattino Cinque” su Canale 5.
I soldi “li abbiamo nel cassetto, sono soldi degli italiani”, ribadisce. “Domani saremo in piazza Duomo a Milano, con migliaia di lavoratori, di agricoltori, di nonni con bambini per chiedere all'Europa non soldi (noi non vogliamo i soldi dei tedeschi e dei francesi), ma “vogliamo semplicemente poter usare i soldi che gli italiani ci danno con le loro tasse per aiutare gli italiani in difficoltà”, sottolinea.
“Nonostante le due guerre massacranti in corso, le regole europee – il Patto di stabilità, i vincoli al tetto degli aiuti di Stato – non ci permettono di usare i soldi degli italiani per aiutare altri italiani, perchè la follia è che von der Leyen e i commissari europei ci dicono ‘è vero, la situazione è grave, stiamo male ma non stiamo ancora malissimo. E' come se uno dicesse ‘il malato è grave, ma siccome non è ancora moribondo aspettate a operarlo: è demenziale. O l'Europa ci permette di cambiare queste regole, o lo facciamo da soli”.

Salvini “Dumb EU, absent, we need to change the rules.”
ROME (ITALPRESS) – “A deaf Europe is absent and prevents me from helping Italians in difficulty, with all the money we would like to use. We need to change some European rules that, at this moment, risk massacring us.” This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, said to “Mattino Cinque” on Canale 5.
“We have the money in the drawer, it’s Italian money,” he reiterated. “Tomorrow we will be in Piazza Duomo in Milan, with thousands of workers, farmers, grandparents with children, to ask Europe not for money (we don’t want the money of the Germans and French), but “we simply want to be able to use the money that Italians give us with their taxes to help Italians in difficulty,” he emphasized.
“Despite the two devastating wars ongoing, the European rules – the Stability Pact, restrictions on state aid ceilings – don’t allow us to use Italian money to help other Italians, because the madness is that von der Leyen and the European commissioners tell us ‘it’s true, the situation is serious, we’re doing badly but we’re not yet doing terribly badly. It’s as if someone were to say ‘the patient is serious, but because he’s not yet dying, wait to operate on him: it’s crazy.’ Or Europe allows us to change these rules, or we’ll do it ourselves.”
