Je marchais dans le centre-ville de Gatineau; il neigeait, puis ce fut une tempête. J’ai trouvé refuge dans le Musée canadien de l’histoire (chanceux!), où j’ai déambulé sans but avec mon appareil en attendant une accalmie. À un moment donné, je me suis trouvé devant cet entrelacs de rampes et d’escaliers, qui ne demandaient qu’à être photographiés. /

I was walking through downtown Gatineau; it was snowing, and then it turned into a blizzard. I took shelter in the Canadian Museum of History (lucky me!), where I wandered aimlessly with my camera, waiting for the storm to let up. At one point, I found myself standing in front of this intricate network of railings and staircases, which were just begging to be photographed.
