One thing I didn't expect when watching Korean camping videos is kimchi envy. You can buy kimchi in Sweden - there's at least two (2) kinds on the shelves. The easiest to get, and cheapest, is made in Sweden from white cabbage (ie. the green heads that get hard as basket balls) that has a sturdy texture even thinly sliced. Korean campers naturally has access to several kinds, usually made from China cabbage, and that texture looks so much more pleasant!

Trying out a new field kitchen, using pinecones for firewood, and using a pinecone "dripped" with candle wax as a firestarter - all in the same go.

Result: Woohoooo! That's a _flame*_!
*sudden realisation*
I forgot to bring out water.

Experiments will continue. I swear I'm not a pyromaniac.

(*It's max height was 20+cm - which is quite good for one small pinecone.)
