One thing I love about Camp Mather, a family summer camp run by San Francisco, is the tie dye activities.
And this year I went a little bit beyond... I decided to dye a duvet cover (and pillow cases, naturally).

And perhaps most importantly: the cocktail I brought to "paint & sip".
I call it "La Reina Violetta": mezcal, liqueur de violettes, dry curaçao, and Meyer lemon juice, with a Tajín & sea salt rim.
Plus brew glitter for that extra dose of fabulousness.

San Francisco has an amazing campground for families to camp in the summer, Camp Mather, located right outside of Yosemite. City kids get to roam free, and there's a "paint & sip" night for adults.
The paint brushes are a mess, but the fun is in hanging out and relaxing with other adults while our kids are off playing.
My painting is based on a photograph I took of a nearby field named "Sunrise Meadow."
