DanielleWhile I am no longer a member of the Disciples of Christ church, I was very active when I was younger. In particular, the weeks I spent at Camp Christian in Marysville, OH as a teen had a *huge* impact on me. It was way ahead of its time in being a welcoming, positive environment.
Today, Camp is struggling after declining attendance from COVID. But more than ever, we need this kind of space where kids can become better versions of themselves and connect with each other.
