The 80s were full of big dumb action movies in theaters. There were a lot of big DUMBER action movies at the video store. Action U.S.A. is quite low on the IQ, but a lot of fun to watch.

Brett Piper's 1988 sequel to Battle for the Lost Planet, Mutant War, has a few things you gotta love... First, you have some great stop-motion creatures created and animated by Piper himself and, oh yes, Cameron Mitchell as the main villain!
