Tangata whenua, Traditional Owners, Turtle Island, Sámi, Palestinian, Gàidheal, and all cousins from all parts are wanted to lend a voice to a track on an upcoming project. The track will be an aggressive cover and adaptation of a classic and scathing #hiphop ripper.
Helpful if you are but you need not be a singer or a rapper or a musician. Just keen to speak, rap or yell a word, or a line, or a verse in any tongue. We'll build the production to accommodate. Caveat, or feature not a bug, it will be updated for the times to be as very #fuckGenocide, #fuckTechBros, #fuckAI, #landback as we need it to be.
Calling any and all first peoples and carriers of colonisation, removals, enslaved, language shift, and oppressed generational trauma for a bit of #camaraderie and hopefully fun and cathartic sonic resistance.
I realise much fedi discourse skews VERY heavily to the so called "global north" but would be amazed and delighted if we could link up with some cousins outside the dominant echo chamber. I am 100% welcoming VIP clicktivism in this instance.
