Yellow Staghorn

Another specimen of this bright yellow fungus. They are my favourite mushroom species. As tiny as they often are, you have to keep your eyes open when walking in woodlands with conifer tree stumps, as they tend to grow on those.

Yellow Stagshorn

These bright yellow fungi are among my favourite mushrooms. They are most often present in autumn, but the wet forests in the Vosges apparently provide just the right climate for them to grow there in summer. No complaints from me.
