The drama continues with our stair lift. Last night, the dang thing ran out of steam near the top of our stairs. You’d think dad was using it a dozen times a day (just twice, 8 hours in between).

We’ve had nothing but problems with the lifts (2) installed in the last year. Instead of providing dad with more independence, it’s causing us worry and frustration when it breaks down frequently and without warning. Today will be all about rescheduling our day so that we can sit around waiting for the company (local) to arrive and AGAIN try and fix the lift. And, whether they fix it or not, worrying that the chair makes it to the top of our stairs when dad wants to take a nap or go to bed tonight. #stairlift #mobility #caregiver #calgontakemeaway

1. filed DMCA forms for jerks pirating my ebooks on scribd

2. Spent 1 hour updating website links

3. fell down a rabbit hole looking for newsletter providers when mailchimp sent an email raising my prices (suggestions?)

4. Emailed zon about a formatting issue. Got reply "It looks great to me", which had me emailing the explanation again.

5. Realized it's now lunchtime and it feels like I got no real work done.
