IFR (she/her)#Day110 of #365HappyDays : finished up #today at Fort Augustus. We’ve paddled 28 miles over the past three days, and called it done as planned at the start of Loch Ness. They’ve done well, my two novices, and they’ve both had lots of fun.
We all felt a sense of accomplishment at the end of it. We set out to do something challenging and we did it. A good reason to be #happy.

We covered just over 16 miles #today. That’s 7 more than yesterday, but the #wind was very much in our favour this afternoon. Another lovely day on the #water of the #CaledonianCanal. We are #WildCamping again tonight alongside the lock. Tomorrow we’ll be done.
#Day109 of #365HappyDays : this is me on #LochOich this afternoon just before the wind picked up and I was able to giggle my way through some exhilarating #downwinding. Man, it was so much fun!
#Day108 of #100HappyDays : not a bad day for a #SUP. Wild camping tonight on Loch Lochy and a #pinemartin came scouting out our camp! Tried to get a photo but it’s rubbish, so here’s one from the water today instead.

#Day106 of #365HappyDays : left home just before 9am, arrived seven and a half hours later, just in time to see a #boat pass through the bottom lock of #NeptunesStaircase heading in the direction of #Corpach. The swing bridge is opening just ahead of the lock gate in this #photo too.
