My last post for the 2023-24 AHL season. The #CoachelleValleyFirebirds lost to the #HersheyBears 4-5 in OT of the #AHL #CalderCupFinals

I’m pretty bummed. Partly because there’s no Championship banner to be hung in Acrisure Arena, but mostly because the next 11ish weeks without Hockey are going to be looooong.

Also, are there any other hockey games going on tonight? #HNOM

Home game 9 of the #CalderCupPlayoffs as the #CoachelleValleyFirebirds take on the #HersheyBears in game 5 of the #CalderCupFinals.

This is also the last home game of the 2023-24 season and I’m a bit sad about that. 😢

Home game 7 of the #CalderCupPlayoffs as the #CoachelleValleyFirebirds take on the #HersheyBears in game 3 of the #CalderCupFinals.

Game 1 for the #CalderCupFinals wrapped up about an hour ago with the #CoachelleValleyFirebirds beating the #HersheyBears 4-3. The final score makes it seem like it was much closer than it maybe really was. Glad to see the boys pull this one out, but it was waaaaay closer than it needed to be. Looking forward to game 2 on Sunday!
