LibreOffice Calc

Behind the scenes, I have found a lot of uses for Calc spreadsheets (which I refer to as my "odious spreadsheets", because they're in "ODS" format).

In the screencap below from a doc, I was using it to establish the finishing state of various 3D assets.

I also use it every year for accounting for income taxes.

i found the need to make a filament tracker in a spreadsheet... i want a rough estimate of how much filament i have left in a roll so i can plan how many prints i have left. i'm rounding up to the nearest gram on each print so i'll always have some left over to account for whatever waste when swapping filaments, etc. that way i can get the most out of roll, i feel! also, it'll be nice to track my prints in general.

i'm using the filament id to be able to input it as shorthand and calculate it with =(G3-SUMIF($PrintLog.C:C,A3,$PrintLog.D:D))

@RachelThornSub #LibreOffice #Calc is a very mature #spreadsheet software. The quality of the formulas is very good and was tested some time ago to be superior (in terms of accuracy) to #Excel, only #Gnumeric was better in that test. LibreOffice's formulas have been continuously tested, verified, and further improved since then.
