I suspect that #Calamares Linux installer (for distro's of all shapes and sizes) is going to grow a "default date of birth" configuration entry, so that *if* some distro enables this terrible option, it can at least default to something sensible, namely (time_t)(~(~0u >> 1))

Since EndeavourOS is mentioned, and it uses #Calamares Linux installer, I'll add this: there **is** a MR queued upstream that adds a date-of-birth field to the installer. I don't really want to add it, but it is also a default-hidden UI element that distro's have to consciously enable.

And after that, there would have to be write-it-somewhere functionality. Which depends on where distro's want to write it (/dev/null, I should hope).

Building #Calamares Linux installer on a FreeBSD system with clang just throws up **so** many compiler warnings from Qt itself (e.g. deduction guides missing in qmochelpers.h) that I wonder if anyone compiles Qt stuff with warnings enabled, ever.
