Trying ceremonial cacao is a slightly interesting experience. It tastes a little stronger than just raw cacao. Mostly I don’t notice, but then there’s a stronger taste at the end, and it’s kinda flat rather than really bitter, but still. Not loving it.

I’m running low on my other stuff and it’ll be a few days before my new one arrives. This’ll do when I can use it, ideally just once a day (I’ve been on four mugs a day, a tablespoon each, the limit being maybe 6 tablespoons).

This endangered cacao moss is basically a forest refugee! 🌿 Deforestation drove it to shady cacao farms. But now, farmers "clean" the trees, destroying its last sanctuary. 😢 The moss protects roots & houses pollinating midges—a perfect natural cycle. Humans should just let nature do its thing and be happy with the leftovers!

Seems the magnesium in cacao has been doing something. Due to the heat, I only had one mug of it this morning. I’d been on four a day (six tablespoons daily is apparently okay - one per mug). Despite some sleep, muscles still restless so I made two more mugs of 1.5tbsp each and it has calmed down. Bit too strong a taste, but not too bad.

I’ve had this restlessness for years (15?) and not known what it was. I noticed outright twitchy muscles, as I’d also had for a few years, a few weeks ago when I briefly tried, and stopped, a supplement. It worked great until the side effects. I’d avoided taking any, can’t seem to tolerate even chelated bisglycinate (gentlest type).
