Non-Americans keep telling Americans we’re “not doing enough” to get rid of Trump. And perhaps we're not. But people are in these streets physically resisting ICE, suing the administration, protesting, organizing mutual aid, protecting vulnerable communities, and working through courts and elections. Pretending Americans are passive is historically and factually wrong. Nonetheless, history shows us that removing a fascist takes time. It never happens overnight. It's a long and grueling process.
